A GENERAL ACTION PLAN FOR ESTABLISHING NEIGHBORHOOD DEFENSE GROUPS
1) Go door to door in your neighborhood and talk with your neighbors. Use a one question survey. Ask them a simple question which will quickly reveal their position on the 2nd Amendment, the Amendment that makes ALL the others possible. The question is, "If the government, or, police, or, military, told you to turn in your firearms and or ammunition, would you?" A "yes" answer means you move on to the next house. A "NO" response may indicate you have an automatic member for your Neighborhood Defense Group. Tell them about your NDG and invite them to join.
2) Compile a list of names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses of your neighbors who are interested in your group. Keep such lists under high security.
3) Plan an initial meeting of your Neighborhood Defense Group. Choose a place, date and time convenient for all or most of the members. A Sunday might prove workable.
4) At the meeting, more fully state the purpose of organizing your NDG, that being protection for your neighborhood from all threats both "foreign and domestic", and allow for a free flow of discussion including possible emergency scenarios which would call for group help and defense. Be sure to include considerations of natural disasters like storms and earthquakes as well as "man-made" ones such as house to house gun confiscations, major food shortages, mandatory vaccine inoculations, "nuclear events" and forced relocations to "FEMA CAMPS".
5) Stay in touch with your NDG people with periodic phone calls, email announcements, visits and somewhat regular meetings.
6) Advertise, asking people to join your County 2nd Amendment Organization. Have the county members start their own Neighborhood Defense Groups. Of course, keep your list under high security.
7) Contact your county sheriff. Try to arrange a meeting between him and your concerned citizens delegation. Let him know of your groups' support for his defense of your constitutional rights, at least by letter.
8) Via organizational meetings, brainstorm and outline response plans for different types of neighborhood crises. Mandatory firearm confiscations should be a primary subject of concern. Also, just as important, the stockpiling of food and survival equipment for each family, as well as each home owner's growing of food, must be strongly emphasized as the current economic collapse and governmental finance crisis gather intensity. Instructional, documentary, videos should be shown to help with general education concerning our national situation.
9) "Dry runs", or, situation drills should be practiced to test out alternative communications and mustering defense plans in the event of different types of emergencies within your neighborhood and throughout the county.
According to discussions which were leaked from a closed door meeting among select congressmen on Capitol Hill back in March of 2008, the warning of an "economic crisis in late '08" was issued. Obviously, that advanced alert proved to be quite accurate. Additionally, it was discussed in the same meeting that a "governmental finance crisis" would occur in mid 2009 which would precipitate the use of the military on American streets to quell "public unrest" with the possibility of even "civil war" eventually ensuing. Needless to say, we are now experiencing a global, purposely engineered, financial crisis, Iceland has declared bankruptcy, with our national path toward economic depression being a seemingly inexorable march. The wise should be preparing. NOW. 12-8-08
NEIGHBORHOOD DEFENSE GROUPS - REASONS TO BE
1) The main purpose for forming Neighborhood Defense Groups is to provide local help in times of disaster and mutual protection from rogue governmental or any other threats to the constitutional rights of the individual members of the neighborhood. For example, during the aftermath to Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, house to house, unconstitutional, gun confiscations were conducted in which some citizens were physically beaten in the process of having their firearms taken. If New Orleans would have already established Neighborhood Defense Groups, such attempts at violating the citizens' 2nd and 4th Amendment rights would have been met with organized resistance of the people and, thus, such tyrannical attempts by the police and military would probably have ended as quickly as they had started, without a single shot being fired. It must always be remembered, "The Second Amendment makes ALL the others possible." Remember, also, that NDGs must be formed NOW, ahead of the time they are needed, because once mass panic starts you won't be able to sit down with your neighbor and have a calm, rational discussion. Then, it will be too late. One cannot organize in the midst of chaos. Talk with your neighbors, NOW.
2) Besides providing an immediate protective, defensive umbrella for local communities and neighborhoods, NDGs could be sources for finding individuals willing to be deputized for service under the command of the local, county sheriff in the event of a major, natural or man-made emergency, including attempts at unconstitutional searches and seizures of firearms. A pool of county-wide, available citizens for deputizing could be maintained for quick accessibility.
3) The mere act of organizing Neighborhood Defense Groups, and the Neighborhood Watch programs have proven that this kind of thing can easily be done, sends a "loud and clear" message to the "powers that be" that attempts at violating the citizens' constitutional rights on the local, neighborhood level, will NOT be tolerated and will be met with whatever response is appropriate and necessary. Past assaults by the "government" have always involved only one piece of land or property with only one owning party that was easily surrounded and fired upon, ending eventually in the capture or death of the targeted individuals. Examples are many. Some include Randy Weaver and his family at Ruby Ridge in Idaho, the travesty in Waco, Texas, Ed and Elaine Brown in New Hampshire, etc., etc. If a neighborhood had several families already organized to collectively resist a governmental assault on their constitutional rights, suddenly, the strategic and tactical situation which would present itself to the tyrannical forces would become enormously more complicated. Besides the huge complications, it would have to be seriously considered that there would be a high probability that the conflict would quickly escalate and spread to other neighborhoods because war, historically, has a habit of becoming "contagious". Thus, a Neighborhood Defense Group offers a variety of important and essential benefits to the local, constitutionally law-abiding, community.
Alexander Solzhenitsyn lamented the Russians' lack of preparation and resistance to the Soviet take-over in his Nobel Prize winning book "Gulag Archipelago".
-"And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or, if during periods of mass arrests,..., people had not simply sat there in their lairs, pailing with terror at every bang on the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of a half dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?"
This Call To Action, this Emergency Alert, is for the already awake "choir". It is assumed that the reader is quite well aware of the quickening collapse of our culture and the rapidly growing Police State that is being purposely constructed in our country, by way of the tried and improved upon methods of Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia, as has been reported on by researchers like Naomi Wolf in her incisive warning called "The End of America" on youtube video and in book form.
It's gut check time, America. Do you want freedom or fascism? It looks like the political venues have been nearly completely controlled. So, that leaves just us, we the people, grassroots America to defend ourselves from the rapidly encroaching authoritarianism. Would you be able to survive massive food shortages and then the inevitable demands for your weapons? If so, how about your neighbors? If you plan to stand and fight alone, just how long do you think it would be before you looked like swiss cheese without help from your neighbors? Let us all hope that some kind of mass miracle happens among the people and America, peacefully, politcally, returns to her constitutional government. However, if this miracle doesn't happen SOON, and I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you, prepare to make your stand or go quietly into the night of despotism with but a whimper. The camps await.
You true patriots, you know who you are. Get off the couch. NOW. History is repeating itself. There is safety in numbers.
